Newlyweds Hanna and Reid find the stunning coastal capital of Scotland - Shelter Island in New York, the USA to switch vows on 14th July 2018.

"Our simple vision ended up being to marry close to the water on the sultry summer's night under twinkle lights with seafood and beer! We simply wanted it to seem like a great summer party!"

"Whilst becoming an adult, both Reid and I worked summer jobs around the water, I like a lifeguard and Reid like a water taxi captain, however, we didn't meet until soon after finishing university. We were created by mutual friends in the island's local dive bar, danced towards the Grateful Dead cover band, and not looked back!"

"We dated for 10 years, partially long-distance, whilst I was in the school of medicine, before getting engaged whilst on the hiking trip with friends in Norway. Reid had planned to propose at the end of the 17-mile long uphill snow-shoeing trek to some beautiful fjord vista, which sounded great."

"In retrospect, it had been hilarious and perfect, and also the memory from the exhausting hike improves as time passes! We were engaged approximately a year before the wedding."

The bride accessorized her dress having a simple cathedral-length veil with lace trim and Hortense clean, along with a pair of blue strappy shoes.

Hanna's simply beautiful short sleeve dress easily fit in perfectly using the natural surrounding beauty.

"I wasn't a girl who was raised dreaming about her wedding or dress then when we became engaged, virtually every aspect of the planning process seemed very daunting. I have an easy, everyday style and knew I desired to feel comfortable and never like I was dressed as another person."

"I didn't hesitate! After one appointment I find the dress. It was simple, elegant, just a little nostalgic, and more importantly, allowed me to seem like the best version of myself." Go

"We had two adorable flower girls; our one-year-old niece Beatrice, and my cousin's 6-year-old daughter Molly, whose mother have been my parent's flower girl once they got married! They both wore their very own simple white flower girl dresses with matching sage ribbon sash and gypsophila flower crowns."

"Each of my bridesmaids chose their very own dress inside a shade of green, allowing all of their personalities to become represented in color and elegance."

"We loved that aesthetic variety to have an outdoor summer wedding, flowing with sage, mint, and emerald shades. I also gifted all of them a simple set of opal stud earrings."

"For the ceremony, Reid and I married at Our Lady from the Isle Church inside a Catholic ceremony conducted through the parish priest. My father walked me on the aisle to Morning Has Broken. We're both uncomfortable being the center of attention therefore it was reassuring to possess each other there to understand as support."

Following the ceremony, guests were transported in the church towards the reception inside a trolley, hired. As their guests were remaining in homes and bed & breakfasts scattered all around the island, the trollies were also accustomed to hitching rides home at the end of the night.

"My favorite part in our wedding only agreed to be being encompassed by our family and friends the entire weekend. We constantly felt bathed in love and support from so many areas of our life all coming together within the same place – how amazing is the fact that!"

Words Of Wedded Wisdom

"Remember the purpose of the day would be to celebrate the love of two people and also the joining together of the families and friends. There can be lots of well-meaning pressure from people you like, to complete or not do some things. Discuss with your lover what is important for you both and stay with those decisions."

Meet Hannah, a Publishing Editor, and Nick, who's a Creative Director. They were married on 22 September 2018, inside a ceremony at a restored Victorian beauty right around the seafront. This was then a reception at the industry brilliant contemporary gallery housed inside a former Regency church.

"Lucy bent over backward to provide me my perfect dress, re-making something in barely whenever at all, and making me a happy bride. Lucy's skill helped me feel beautiful, and unlike each and every other dress I tried on, I felt much like myself. Like magic, but much like me."

"We were pretty set on using a Brighton, city-center-based wedding, having relatively recently gone to live in the city we wanted to become in the heart of our new house. Plus we're city folks; the term rustic is fairly anathema to both people. We also wanted venues which had something a little different, something unpredictable, something with architectural beauty, then one that would make people would go 'Wow'."

Nick looked incredibly smart inside a black, three-piece microdot tuxedo, that they wore had a shirt, a white slimline tie and silver pocket square from Joshua Kane, and black brogues.

"The groomsmen wore matching champagne with white polka-dot ties. They all had pocket squares that were different but matched. Nicky's dad was built with a matching tie in baby pink, my father rocked exactly the same tie in baby blue. All the boys were subtly, but nicely coordinated."

"I wasn't prescriptive using the groomsmen about anything beyond them wearing black and becoming them a tie. The groomsmen are really different, so I wanted them to become comfortable and seem like themselves. Besides, they're a devilishly handsome bunch, plus they looked awesome."

Hannah and her bridesmaids and flower girls walked into the house they'd rented to organize, the Bandstand, and regardless of the rain, they were built with a great time. Messages of encouragement and support were written around the pavements in their route by Nick's friends.

With their dresses, the bridesmaids wore black shoes along with Anthropologie hair clips to compliment Hannah’s. The flower girls wore sparkly black flower girl dresses with denim jackets, with black glitter Converse trainers. Go

"When we first met, both of us instantly knew this was it, but we allow it to slip away; 2009 and 2010 would be a complicated time. Over the next six years, the love never went away, and frankly, it had been painful! It took among us to move towards the other side from the Earth, annually of not talking with each other, and thus much distance and emotional turmoil to make the inevitable to occur."

"All it took would be a one-word message from me in Australia and Nick was flying towards the other side of the world to obtain me. The rest was easy! I came home, although not before we met in the middle of a 3-week adventure around Japan. On the first anniversary of having back together, Nick planned a surprise visit to Iceland even though I was climbing the volcanic rock face from the mid-Atlantic trench, Nick brought out a ring. Par for that course, he needed to climb the wall to visit put the ring on Hannah's finger."

During their sweet and touching ceremony, Hannah and Nick exchanged rings, that they chose, whereas Nick had earlier found the perfect diamond engagement ring for Hannah, too.

"We wanted the day to become filled with memorable moments. Whether it was big gestures and landmark moments, or perhaps in the tonne of small stuff that we added, to reflect everything about us."

"Our first dance ended up being to Absinthe Party At The Fly Honey Warehouse, by Minus The Bear. Both being really musical and music-nuts, it had been really hard buying what this is. We have a lot of songs which are 'our songs'. We went with this because it includes a really pretty, dreamy minute-and-a-bit intro that people could dance on their own to before it begins and everyone could grab their nearest and dearest, pile to the dance floor, and jump around."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Don't hesitate to ask for help. We did everything by ourselves, and wouldn't happen to be able to obtain it done without the aid of certain wonderful people, especially establishing the venue your day before the marriage! That takes a lot longer than you believe it will. People love to assist, so ask!"

Are you ready for something really special? Join me in London for Sophie and Ryan, who both work within the commercial lighting industry, on 1 September 2018.

"Everything was cream, white and black. It was a conventional yet present-day held within the oldest Catholic church in England. We were fortunate to possess a beautifully warm, calm, starry evening with family and friends celebrating late into the night in The Crypt below."

"After getting engaged in December, I started to check out dresses online the next spring. I discovered one dress that I instantly fell deeply in love with. I took a screenshot and attempted to forget about it as I was built with a feeling it might be out of my budget range. I bought two high-street dresses in the meantime on the internet and tried them on in my own home as the considered going into a marriage dress shop helped me feel incredibly anxious and overwhelmed."

"I loved every piece I tried on but selected the feel times dress. I wore the Laura Drape top having a ¾ length sleeve outrageous to reveal the gorgeous bow behind."

"We met one another at operate in September 2014 – a totally lucky and wonderful fluke as Ryan only agreed to be about to leave to begin up their own company inside the industry. In December 2016, on the freezing but beautifully sunny evening, Ryan proposed in my experience in our favorite place – Fanore Beach around the west coast of Ireland."

Sophie kept her make-up classic and fresh, together with her hair down in soft ringlets for any bit of movement. Helping her to organize was her closest friend, looking radiant inside a soft grey, sequinned gown.

"My beautiful closest friend and maid of honor was nine months pregnant when she walked on the aisle beside me. We found probably the most lovely maternity bridesmiad gowns. My two flower girls wore silk ivory lace flower girl dresses and fresh flower crowns produced by our florist."

Setting the black-tie theme was Ryan in the bespoke tuxedo from Savile Row.

"He chose them for his or her modern yet traditional cuts. They were very useful and quick with alterations and he has been a repeat customer since."

Sophie and her father traveled to Saint Etheldreda’s Church within an electric black cab, before walking down the splendid aisle together towards the traditional wedding march.

"Our most memorable moment was seeing one another at the top and bottom of the aisle. We couldn't believe your day was finally here and that we are so grateful for the amazing family and friends for those of their love and support."

Photographer's romantic yet modern style, by having an almost editorial feel – marries perfectly using the overall vibe from the couple's day.

"Before I was even considering wedding photography, I was browsing plenty of wedding blogs and kept feeling attracted to certain images. I then realized every image I loved was through the same photographer. I just knew we'd have Miss Gen and hoped that they would be free for the date. We were very lucky."

"We loved working Miss Gen. Gen was extremely relaxed, even if I was inside my most stressed around an hour before the ceremony. She made all of us feel at ease and blended directly into every situation perfectly. Our favorite photo is of us around the bridge. We had only been married for around an hour when it had been taken. I love the red bridge using the blue sky behind it – it covers our London wedding. Full of sunshine and plenty of love!"

The empty London streets are the ideal backdrop for that couple's newly-wed portraits, which are extremely beautiful and atmospheric. I cannot, though, overcome the movement and flow of Sophie's gown and also the drape top, also it looks much more beautiful using the bow on full show.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"No two weddings are identical – do not compare anything and revel in your special day because it's gone inside a flash."

This is a cozy and alluring autumnal celebration in an elegant Scottish country estate, filled with the season's beauty, a sweetly personalized humanist ceremony, along with a delicious dinner by candlelight. This is the marriage of, an actress, and her love Jonny, who works in advertising. They were married on 2 November 2019 in the beautiful, family-run, encompassed by woodland around the Fife coast in Scotland.

"We both wanted a cozy, autumnal wedding in Scotland. Cambo was even further away than we initially planned, however, it ticked all of the boxes. It looks quite grand but is a very relaxed place without any set rules or methods of doing things. The event planner Louise is chilled out (but insanely efficient!) also it didn't seem like a factory for weddings."

"My Maid of Honour wound up choosing a dress from my very own wardrobe, and my sister wound up going for any sparkly dress, which looked lovely with my niece's lace flower girl dresses, and cardi – both bought for sale."

Jonny wore good blue wool and cashmere blend having a burgundy silk tie, and the groomsmen wore coordinating blue suits of their very own choosing.

"Suitsupply offered an easy range of top quality, well-fitting suits that don’t cost our planet and appear good around the day. All the ushers chose to coordinate wearing their very own blue suits, which we had absolutely nothing to do with – great work lads!"

"My Dad walked me on the aisle wearing a kilt, which I'd never witnessed before. He looked amazing! I chose to walk on the aisle for an acoustic version of September Fields by Frazey Ford."

It's also worth noting that as Ali and her Dad walked down the aisle, a fireplace alarm was discontinued! Although initially startling, it did function as a great ice breaker!

"I would be a little disorientated at the start! Having this amazing group contribute to our ceremony brought me straight back into the room, and solved the problem by focusing on why I was there. Looking back, I think the alarm broke the ice for which was to be considered a very personal ceremony having a lot of laughter and sincerity at the same time." Go

I'm pleased to be sharing the job of today, whose natural, documentary-style lent itself perfectly to Ali and Jonny’s relaxed celebration.

"Patrick suggested we spent the time going for any little walk, just us, also it was a moment of calm I enjoyed. We wanted the photographs to become candid and authentic, which's exactly what we've got. He was amazing around the day, everyone felt chilled around him, looking back on the photos we believe he really captured the love and also the fun! I'd recommend him to anyone."

"My cousin fiddle whilst we signed the register, and our great friend Mel wrote and browse an incredible piece about us, the way we met, and our relationship."

"We met in London in 2015 through our great mutual friends, who have been both within the wedding party. We got engaged after three years of dating. Jonny proposed to me within our bedroom one morning in December with the ring tied around our dalmatian’s collar. We planned the marriage in about 10 months, knowing we desired to get hitched in autumn."

"We wanted your day to feel comfortable yet sincere, and for those our family and friends who had traveled to date to feel treated to some great party which was just as much about thanking them because it was about celebrating our marriage. We didn’t have set themes but simply chose stuff we liked, also it ended up being very cozy and autumnal."

After dinner, a nearby ceilidh band (sadly no details supplied) played an hour or so long set within the ballroom.

"It was completely raucous and chaotic, and brilliant. We then went back towards the courtyard where we'd our ceremony, where played their amazing funk into the wee hours."

It was at this time that Ali swapped her embroidered dress for any simple, stylish slip dress; an item she had chosen before the Temperley dress. She decided she may be too cold if she wore it during the day, but kept it for dancing, and today plans to dye it or transform it into a jumpsuit.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Have someone inside your wedding party be aware of running order and timings of the day which means you don't clock watch, or find the food is cold because speeches have operated on. Even though we'd the incredible Louise at Cambo running things for all of us, I was glad that people allocated our great friend Dan to become her right-hand man for timings, because he was the main one sitting near us at dinner. You want things to operate on time, but without them feeling just like a military event!"

"Relax and set your trust in those people which means you can just benefit from the whole day yourselves. Stuff goes wrong, but take it inside your stride. We had a fireplace alarm set off, and I continued walking on the aisle, and we laughed about this. What else are you able to do?!"

On 9 August 2019, the legal cashier supervisor wed manager inside a civil ceremony followed by a reception, overlooking Victoria Park in Hackney.

Marcie find the designer of her gown, then looked for a boutique that stocked it, leading her to London.

She'd fallen deeply in love with the clean, figure-hugging lines of designs, and decided on a gown having a hick's neck and plunging back, flowing right into a sexy, fluid train.

"The dress was always what I wanted for any wedding dress; I loved the simplicity of it."

"I have always loved the venue, and try to say I wanted to obtain married there. I love your building with its Georgian high ceilings, big windows, and pillars along with a great backyard that leads onto Victoria Park. I love easy and classic which was the design and style I went for at the time."

"The bridesmaids' outfits were my choice but my sister who would be a bridesmaid solved the problem. My niece would be a bridesmaid too. I wanted them both to put on a dress they would wear again. I also wanted a relaxed feel for them and never too formal."

The perfect gown was discovered and Marcie’s sister Carly wore gold wedges. Her niece, India, wore an adorable rose gold flower girl dress with gold shoes.

The wild, natural flowers and foliage in greens and creams were styled through the bride's sister Carly Wilson, an experienced florist, who's created this type of wonderfully elegant yet un-done look.

For the bride-to-be and groom, it had been love in the beginning sight once they met whilst traveling in Thailand.

"I was traveling having a friend and Gonzalo was too. We met around the island of Koh Tao in a beach club called Lotus. We spent per week together before I had to return to the UK."

"Gonzalo continued traveling along with a month later, I flew to travel Vietnam together for 2 weeks. That was whenever we realized we'd something special and Gonzalo chose to move to London and provide things a try."

"We got engaged in Greece – Kos. Gonzalo booked a restaurant having a sunset view and proposed soon after sunset. It was so magical, my happiest day ever."

At Hackney Town Hall, Gonzalo was waiting for that bride as she walked on the aisle together with her father, David, to 'End Titles' by Rachel Portman.

"We had a concept of what we wanted for the wedding photographers and we found that in Taylor-Hughes. They were in a position to capture the most amazing moments in a simple, classic way. We both truly love our wedding photos. Jack and Jade are a wonderful couple and extremely made our big day special effortlessly."

"Now I'm just waiting another moment that people can use them again."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Stick with what you would like. It's so easy to obtain swayed by others or other weddings. You need to make certain your wedding is exclusive to you."

I love seeing them possess a new lease of life as wedding venues now we're exploring Northbrook Park in Surrey, a quintessentially English manor house that has been dressed so elegantly, taking inspiration from Italy, for today's stylish and stylish wedding.

On 11 May 2019, and wed inside a Christian service in Godalming, Surrey, and afterward hosted a simple and stylish, Italian-inspired reception for their guests. Choosing a sophisticated color pattern of white and green, the couple's Christian roots were at the center of their wedding.

"We are generally Christians which means this guided many of the traditional elements and being married inside a church, particularly the one I was married in because it was where I had attended church becoming an adult, and my parents married there. I was inspired by Italian-style weddings and simplicity was key. That is why we chose most of the features as white and green."

The wedding party all got ready in Guildford, the bridesmaids slipping into glam gowns in deep blue, their style mirroring the bride-to-be's so well. The flower girls wore pink flower girl dresses.

Exquisitely cut, her gown is really modern using its gold gemstone appliqué edging and deep V-back.

"I struggled to locate a dress I fell deeply in love with when I visited bridal stores. I wound up looking online to obtain a feel from the designers I liked and located my dress on feeltimes dresses."

The couple met within their second year at university, where there were both people in its Christian Union.

"We met providing tea and toast to individuals coming out from the student union at 3 am as I was both a part of the Christian Union. Five years later Micah flew to New York (for 35 hours) to surprise me in the Gapstow Bridge in Central Park and proposed."

"I have always loved peonies so wanted those to be front and center! My two favorite items were the flower arrangement around the church arch and also the centerpiece in the venue."

The newlyweds hopped into the Beetle to go to Northbrook Park, which was beautifully decorated with pure green foliage and white roses, in addition to pillar candles and little bottles of homemade elderflower cordial and raspberry cordial, produced by Laura's mother as favors.

The couple's old university friend was called onto record your day and I love his vibrant, movement-filled photos.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Take time for yourselves. What quickly happened was that every time we met we wound up solely wedding ceremony planning and so our relationship was placed on hold in many respects. It's often good to simply take time out and also have dinner or spend time without referring to planning and merely enjoy being with one another."

This beautiful, intimate wedding that happened in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is our dear friend. Caoimhe, a counsellor, wed lawyer David on 11 September 2021. The couple's ceremony was then a relaxed meal at among their favourite city haunts,

Caoimhe wore a minimalist gown, gently tied in the waist, through the fantastic. We just love the pops of early Autumn colour and the lovely, family wedding vibe of the day. Enjoy. Caoimhe selected her elegant, floor-length gown from feel times, loving its modern and laid-back vibe.

"When we started planning the marriage I felt that I wanted an easy dress to suit the city hall and city vibe of the marriage. I felt so comfortable in the Vienna dress. The fabric includes a beautiful weight into it and it had wonderful movement. It also had the easy vibe I was opting for."

"I've been following florist Vicki for some time on Instagram so when she started a floristry business I loved her aesthetic. When I contacted her with my ideas she am receptive and enthusiastic. She was lovely to utilize and I felt very at ease using the floral arrangements in her own hands. They were beyond my expectations and we got a lot of compliments from your guests."

Caoimhe's bridesmaids wore deep blue, pleated dresses with gold heels, also from jackets for warmth. The flower girls wore mustard yellow cardigans over their pretty white tulle flower girl dresses, also from FeelTimes, together with shoes.

The couple selected photographer Steph, whose intimate and colourful style was an ideal fit on their behalf.

"A handful of photographers I contacted didn't do half days. As soon as I saw Steph's work I loved her style; it had been exactly what I was searching for. She is enthusiastic and friendly whenever we spoke and she or he instantly put me comfortable. She was professional, making the effort to make sure she got all from the family shots I'd requested and made sure she got all from the little details too."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"The best advice I would share with couples planning a marriage is to get it done exactly how you wish to. Don't be worried about what other people think the wedding should be. We chose a handful of things that people felt were most significant and built your day around those activities which worked very well to keep the planning around the right track."
